How To Improve Your Online Casino With Attractive White Label Bonuses

Author: Inbet Games

White-label bonuses are one of the most effective strategies for improving your online casino, but how do you properly implement this term that is thrown around so often? Well, let me take you through a journey of how I, and many others, managed to grow our online businesses with white-label bonuses.

White Label Bonuses

Think about it: How appealing are those bright “20% deposit bonus on your first deposit” or “Get $5 free by using the promo code xyz“ posts? Personally, those are the posts that are the most convincing for me to go ahead and try out a particular casino. Why? Well, think about it: who doesn’t like freebies? However, since everyone has caught on, you need to start standing out when it comes to implementing white-label bonuses.

How To Set Up Effective White Label Bonuses

Now, you have to understand that the purpose of white-label bonuses is to get people pumped over your casino, so you have to set up something that gets people excited. Some of the most influential posts I’ve seen haven’t been ones boasting the best bonuses but rather ones that properly structured their post in a way that made the event seem exciting.

For instance, you could be announcing a simple bonus – such as a meager 3% deposit bonus on a player's first deposit – but if you write your post with engaging language and supplement it with an attractive, bright graphic, you’re bound to get users curious over what’s going on in your online casino.

Types Of White Label Bonuses

One of the aspects of optimizing my white-label bonuses was understanding how different bonuses are perceived by the general population. You see, not every white-label bonus gives off the same message. Some of these attract different categories of people, and what I understood very early on was that you have to identify which bonus to advertise based on what kind of customers you want to attract.

So, let’s break down the different types of bonuses and how you can target different niches with them.

First Deposit Bonuses

First deposit bonuses are exactly what they sound like – a bonus on a player's first deposit to your casino. Intuitively, you can already imagine when you’d want to release a first deposit bonus, which is right when you start your casino. These bonuses are a great way to drag in new players to your platform, as a freebie on their first visit is certainly something they wouldn’t want to miss out on.

If you want inspiration on what kind of First Deposit bonuses to include, just give some of the big names a quick look. For instance, a website like Stake regularly offers First Deposit bonuses of 100% up to a certain threshold – which often happens to be around the 1000$ mark.

Rakeback

Rakeback is a form of giving back to your players after some unfortunate losses. For instance, if a player bets 100 coins on a roulette spin and loses their wager, you – as a platform – can offer a small compensation for their woes. Rakeback generally ranges from 2-8% on most casino sites, which means a player would get 2-8 coins back on their bet should they lose.

The ideal rakeback figure depends on your profitability and engagement goals — higher rakeback results in smaller profits but increased user engagement, and vice versa.

Free Reward

Free rewards are actually quite a broad category of white-label bonuses since they can encompass all the bonuses. The way free rewards differ from most bonuses is that they don’t usually require the player to make any deposits. Rather, they can appear through challenges, promo codes, and the like.

However, the best implementation of free rewards has been to incorporate personalized packages for players so as to bring them back to the platform. Let’s say, for instance, a player hasn’t visited your platform in a few months. You can incentivize them to come back to your platform by letting them know they can receive a free reward if they come to play a game on your platform. These rewards can range from rakebacks, cashback, and free spins as long as they cater to that particular player's interests.

Free Balance

Free balance, on the other hand, is much more self-explanatory. You provide players with the chance to get free coins or cash in their account, whether it be through promo codes or through completing a set of challenges, and they can then withdraw this balance or choose to play some more with it.

This is a great bonus for attracting some high rollers or players who tend to spend a lot of time on the platform already, as they’ll be incentivized to play through the challenges. Then again, how you deliver the rewards also matters.

Tier-Based Bonuses

Finally, we have tier-based bonuses. Out of all the white-label bonuses, these can end up being the most profitable. Why is that? Well, tier-based bonuses are all about rewarding users progressively. So, the users with the lowest engagement will get rewarded the least, and vice versa.

What happens here is that this reward can transition your ‘low engagement’ players to high engagement ones since they’re constantly being rewarded for playing more. No one wants to be left behind the pack, right?

You can also get creative with tier-based bonuses. For instance:

  • Create a VIP system where users get exclusive titles, and the sheer lure of the status they get will motivate them to spend more time on your platform.
  • Alternatively, you can also introduce a points system, which gives you a ton of flexibility. You can set challenges that reward users with varying amounts of ‘XP’ or points, and based on that, you can also promote the games you’d like by rewarding more points for those games.
Type of Bonus Players Targeted Description
First Deposit Bonus New Players Bonus on a player's first deposit to attract new players to the platform.
Rakeback Players after Losses Compensation for losses typically ranges from 2-8% on most casino sites. Balances profitability and user engagement goals.
Free Reward Inactive Players Incentivizes players to return with personalized packages, including rakebacks, cashback, and free spins.
Free Balance High Rollers, Regular Players Free coins or cash through promo codes or challenges. Attracts high rollers and incentivizes players to spend more time on the platform.
Tier-Based Bonuses All Players, Emphasis on Engagement Levels Progressive rewards based on engagement. Encourages low-engagement players to become high-engagement ones through a VIP system or points system.

Setting The Right Conditions

The art of incorporating these bonuses revolves around implementation. While these bonuses are definitely alluring, you don’t want to give these out for absolutely free, do you? You should always have a goal in mind when you advertise a bonus. As I glossed over previously, different rewards cater to different categories of players, so your first step should be to identify the kinds of players you want to engage when you introduce a bonus.

Then, you need to make sure the reward isn’t so astronomical as to have no returns at all. We’re running a business here at the end of the, aren’t we? So, make sure the numbers don’t skew in your favor when you introduce a reward. The best example for this would be rewarding players with a 10% rakeback on a game where you only have an 8% house edge. You’d be losing money constantly in that scenario.

Setting the right conditions is all about making everyone leave as a happy trooper. The players get a nice bonus, and your platform gets the engagement it was missing.

Closing Remarks

Now that you know how to start implementing the right white-label bonuses, you can start boosting your casino engagement. Just make sure you incorporate all the tips I included to make the most of this underutilized strategy.
